JBLaunch

JB5Launch
This program is a method of tidying the Extras bar and is basically an S5 version of JBLaunch. Currently it is working on dialogs as the graphical interface is far too slow to be of much use. You can install applications, OPL programs and Documents.
The program will remove applications from the Extras bar after installing within JB5Launch.
JBSort

JBSortB

JBBackup
Closes down files, transfers all altered files to the remote PC (using Archive bit) and then re-opens the previously closed files.
JBStopGo
This EPOC16 program closes or re-opens files dependent on whether the Link is running or not. If closing files then the Link is run otherwise the Link is closed. It is now possible to use the program without starting the Link - this is useful for users of the Cyclone drive and those wishing to backup to an SSD.
JB5StopGo
This Series 5 program closes or re-opens files dependent on whether the Link is running or not. If closing files then the Link is run otherwise the Link is closed. It is possible to specify a program to run on closedown and whether the Link is actually started up or not.
The program should work satisfactorily on all language S5's and also on the Geofox machine. It should also open up Navigator in exactly the same way as if opening it from the Taskbar.
JBCIS
Is an Off Line Reader to be used in conjunction with ReadCIS for CompuServe.

JBDial
Searches for a number in a database file and then dials using either the internal loudspeaker or a modem. It automatically selects the modem if attached
- The files to use for the search are configurable and saved so they don't have to be selected each time the program is run.
- A log can be created of numbers to redial and phone card numbers can also be included in the dial sequence and remembered between sessions.
- Log entries can be copied to other applications using Bring.
- Bring is implemented so numbers can be brought from applications such as Agenda.
JBEyecon
Shows pictures in various modes including a sort of Thumbnail effect. It is possible to look at all the pictures in a directory and also examine them full size. The three options are...

JBNag
is a simple utility that, on switching on the Psion, will make a jump to a pre-determined application (that must also be running at the time). This was primarily written for people to jump to the Agenda when switching on the Psion - in that mode the Agenda view can be pre-determined and the jump will always be to the current day in that view.
There is an option to run only once a day (the first switch-on of the day) or every time the Psion is powered up. The program now saves its setup when closed.
JBJump
This program is an extended version of JBNag which works in a similar way but allows closed programs to be specified along with any data files required by the program. A few things have changed such as a Menu system has been implemented and coming to the foreground does not automatically leave you in the setup system. Any closed programs are opened if the given specifics are met.
JBResetM
This is a program that, hopefully, will reclaim memory that has been fragmented and therefore can't be used by other programs. This is something that seems to happen over time regardless of how you use the machine and one of the biggest culprits is Time. This program should deal with that.
JBMacFix
Fixes MacSys so that launched applications will return from where they were launched rather than ending up on the Macro screen. It works by using an OPO program to actually launch the application thereby releasing MacSys to run other macros whilst this launched program is running.
CvtAgn
Converts S3a Agenda files to S3 type Agenda files as best possible. It is not possible to do everything as the S3 is more limited in what can be done with the files but, as an emergency solution, it should be satisfactory.
JBWHol
Inserts UK and German holidays into an S3a Agenda file. The items to be inserted can be selected and there is an overall selection of UK or German holidays.

JBActive

JBBlite
Controls the backlight in a similar way to the Psion acts when dealing with Auto-Off. If a key has been pressed then the timeout is reset and if the Mains being present is set to not switch off the machine then this is also how the backlight will behave.

This is a program that toggles the show of System and Hidden files on the Series 5 and Series 5mx machines.

IRLink
This is a small program that allows two InfraRed capable Psion machines to communicate with each other in place of a cable connection. It can also be used to communicate with a built-in Infra-Red communicator in a laptop with the aid of PsiWin 2.
